Medavie Recruitment Consultants will host a live online event between 1:00pm – 3:00pm EST and 2:00pm – 4:00pm AST. You can participate anywhere that you have Internet access, and the event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices. You do not need to be in attendance for the entire time the virtual job fair is open and can come and go throughout the event time as needed.

Yes. This event is an opportunity to meet, network, and ask a Recruitment Consultant specific questions about topics such as current open positions and company culture.
Chat may include topics such as current open positions, future possibilities, overview of company culture and the great benefits of being part of a leading healthcare organization that gives back to it’s communities!

Before the event:

  • Update your LinkedIn profile. The first step in preparing for virtual fairs is to make sure your online profile(s) are complete and up-to-date. This will help Recruitment Consultants get the full picture of your background, education and information on the great work you’ve been doing! Don’t let an incomplete or out-of-date profile keep you from getting discovered.
  • Do your research. Log on and find out which Medavie Inc. Company will be spotlighted and click through the employer’s page to learn more about them. Check out the job types, locations and roles that interest you and you feel you’d be a good fit for.
  • Doing your homework will help you think of questions to ask during chats with Recruitment Consultants.
  • Come prepared to network. This event is about building a relationship, jot down a few talking points and think of an “elevator pitch” about yourself—a short overview about your background, studies, and career goals.
  • Check your Tech! (Video and Audio)

During the event:

  • Have a purpose. Understand what you want to gain, learn, or develop from your next role and be able to clearly articulate it.
  • Find a quiet spot free from distractions.
  • Be impactful. Know the key values, abilities and skills that make you an asset for Medavie Inc.
  • Understand that technical issues can happen. If they do, ask for help. We completely understand that these are sometimes unavoidable.
  • Arrive on time. It’s very important to show up at your selected session start time. Being on time shows the Recruitment Consultant that you’re dependable and respectful of their time.

After the event:

  • Keep the momentum going from your interaction with the Recruitment Consultant.

  • The Talent Acquisition Teams at Medavie Inc. are logging in daily to find candidates for open positions —so it’s important to apply!
  • If you’re not ready to apply yet, save the jobs you like or apply for Open and Ongoing Opportunities or Talent Networks that will alert Recruitment Consultants of your profile.
  • Connect with those you met with on LinkedIn. Make sure there’s a purpose to this connection - send a message with why you want to connect with them.
  • Stay positive if Recruitment Consultants don’t respond right away. They are very busy.
